What Guests Are Saying
Lock A campground is well-maintained and offers beautiful river views, spacious sites, and friendly hosts, making it an enjoyable place for camping. Visitors appreciated the cleanliness of the facilities, good connectivity, and access to water activities like kayaking. While the narrow and steep road to the campground and some dated bathroom facilities were mentioned as drawbacks, overall experiences were positive, with many guests eager to return.

Love this campground. My favorite site is 40. After 6 times staying, it did not rain this time and had a great time. The host this time was great, only thing was they were cleaning at 7 in the morning right when everyone needs to go after getting up. But they were cleaning. Great Campground

A great campground right on the river. Watching the barges and cruise ships going by is a big reason we go. It’s also really well run.

Great little campground right along the Cumberland River. Quiet campground with friendly hosts. Ashland City is only 20 mins away if you need resupply. I'll be back!

We enjoyed a week here. Everything was great. We went fishing. It even had a little beach area roped off so you can swin. You can fish from one end of the park to the other. All the employees were nice. We will be going back very soon

If you are tent camping, I strongly suggest the tent sites. The other sites are more appropriate for RVs, and probably for some of them there won't be a place for the tent. The tent sites are nicer, anyway, with a better view imo.

Extremely well maintained and clean. The bathroom and showers are some of the cleanest I have used in a campground.
