NO attendant, Sites not cleaned up prior to arrival, water pumps not working properly, hot water in bathhouse wouldn’t stay on, people riding through all night long, using bathhouse then leaving!!!! Didn’t feel safe, not enjoying it like we used to at all!!!

Stayed in site 15. Road shoulder needs building up. Front of truck drops off while swinging to back in. Glad I have 4 wheel drive.

We always enjoy our stay at Parksville. We absolutely love this quaint little campground. However, the sites are not maintained as well as our previous stays this year since Nancy & Robert are no longer there as the campground hosts. With that being said, there was no campground host at all. The park rangers only came around to change the reservation signs and check the restrooms to replenish supplies. I can say that when Nancy & Robert were there...the sites were maintained immediately when someone checked out of their site and the restrooms were always clean and supplies were always replenished. Nancy & Robert were very friendly and treated us like family. They also watchout for each individual camper and made Parksville a safe environment for everyone.
Also, the power went out on Friday night. We were told by a fellow camper that it was a planned outage. The park rangers could have notified the campers of this planned outage. The park rangers that we came in contact with were not very friendly even if asking them a question when they did finally ride through the campground.
We will continue to camp at Parksville because we enjoy the quaintness of the campground. However, Parksville needs Robert & Nancy back as the hosts.

We are looking for spacious, private, peaceful campsites next to water, and this campground delivered! Our RV is 26ft long, and we had no problem backing in and leveling/setting up. Site is near the creek, which is wonderful to listen to. No cell service. My biggest complaint would be that the fire pit is too high to be able to satisfactorily watch a fire unless you build a big fire, so bring lots of wood! Looking forward to putting Parksville campground on our list of places to definitely return to and worthy of experiencing again.

We stayed in Site #14 Weather was great and it was so peaceful and quiet. The entire area is clean and well maintained. We were there weekendf of October 13th. We were in our RV so I didn't use the shower house but my husband said they were really nice and clean. Can't wait to go back

Needs a lot of maintenance. One faucet was running the whole time we were there. The bathhouse needs work, ceilings had mold and mildew most likely because the vent fan wasn’t working. That’s just a few things to mention for now.

Cute little campground. Very quiet, close to the lake. The showers were hot. Sometimes the toilet paper was just out which was somewhat inconvenient but overall great place to camp.
