It's a great small campground. Nice creek. The campground hosts keep the place clean and are nice to talk to.
The only bad thing is Highway 30 runs right by the campground and is very noisy most days and nights. They need THP to patrol that section of the roadβotherwise a nice spot.

This campground overall is a small enough size to not seem overcrowded. This is a preference to me as busy RV campgrounds are not appealing to me at all. I think medium to small sized vehicles are better suited in this park. The surrounding area is nice with the TN mountains, Ocoee River and Lake sharing a shoreline. However, I was disappointed there was no good lake access to swim from or to manage a kayak. Itβs not groomed for lake access. One can rent a tent site near the water if you like having close neighbors and no electricity option. On the RV side, #12 is a nice site except you are very close to your #11 neighbor. Get to know them because your two sites are really one big one. This could be a good place to meet up and share. I expected this but picked #12 for a different reason and scheduled my time for this site. It is on the end with 180 degree privacy and on the creek. I wanted a cool creek or river to enjoy. However, I didnβt expect to have the fallen trees from a big storm a few weeks ago all piled at the site and blocking all access to the creek for sites #11 and #12. I know nature is unpredictable and creates challenges. Perhaps the park is slow in recovery, or is ok with it as it is. It would have been nice to know in advance to consider choosing another site. The good-side? There was plenty of firewood. At least cutting tree sections on the creek path to allow a walkthrough would be easy enough with a few minutes and a chainsaw. Call ahead to check on current conditions if you are seeking privacy and refreshing waters. The baths were clean. The hosts seem to take care of things well. Not a bad experience, but this particular experience is just βGoodβ at 3 stars. I would consider returning when visiting the area, but may try a different campground.

My wife and I love this place. Itβs just 30 amp on the sites but for short stays we make it work. Itβs not gamping but you feel like your in nature which is part of the camping experience.

Bathrooms were impeccably clean, camp hosts were very friendly and the location was perfect for kayaking the lake.

Great experience with great hosts. There is absolutely no wifi so be prepared. All the sites are shaded and bathrooms are clean.

The campsite was great and our first two days were great. But our trip was cut short due to storms that damaged our travel trailer. I had to go to the emergency for lacerations on my foot and my sister's car was damaged. I'm giving the bad review because of the lack of response and rudeness of the camp hosts. Worst camp hosts we have ever experienced and we camp a lot. Mary and what's his name need to be fired.

Nice campground with several sites right on the water. Check out my YT channel outdoormary to see a full video walkthrough showing each site.

The site was spacious and not on top of adjacent sites. Initially seemed to have a problem with the breakers tripping on the power source but got it straightened out.
