We went to the Parksville campground for a week and we had a great trip. The weather was cold but we were warm in camper. Our Hostess, Barbara, was very nice and every morning she would say "good morning" to us. We have been there before and love that campground. The only drawback is I wish they would put in water and sewer for each site. The cell service is kind of weak but we have our booster so we were good. I would definitely recommend this campground. Thank you

Nice mostly quiet campground. We have stayed at Parksville Lake several times when traveling in the area. One complaint is no hand soap or sanitizer in bathhouse. Unfortunately this is typical of USFS campgrounds since COVID.

Small campground, with some sites along the stream, with only 20 or so sites. Flush bathroom with one shower each for male and female. Water pressure great and very comfortably warm water. Electric at sites and water available at pumps located throughout campground. Many hiking trails in the area and, for rainy days, not too far to Lookout Mountain GA where I highly recommend Ruby Falls and Rock City Gardens. Visited in November so no rafters in the Ocoee River. The TVA works in coordination with local rafting/boating companies and floods the river on many weekends in warmer weather for whitewater thrills. Flags from the many countries that participated in the Centennial Olympics in 1996 still fly at the parking lot. Make sure you stop at the ranger station and get trail maps that list the mileage and the difficulty level of the trails in the areas.

Our favorite campground! Clean showers and small and cozy environment. We live hearing the creek flow.
