this is a small, beautiful, mellow campground in a very scenic area. i have a 32’ fifth wheel that was a bit tricky to back into site #15 because there isn’t much room to maneuver my tow vehicle. all was not lost however, as the campground host offered to switch me to a site that was easier to enter. puppy liked going across the street to the closed group campground. Drove up scenic hwy 30 the next day to a great Amish farmer’s market in Benton called Delano. very scenic drive on US 64 heading out .
this campground has a few pull-throughs ( unavailable at my booking) and a few spots for big rigs, but you probably will want to be a bit choosy with anything over 30’

Awesome weekend. Did not stay on the lake too long with the kayaks because it was a bit windy. Beautiful area though, plenty of trails and fishing to be had.
