Have a neat little town called Granville that is touted as "Tennessee's Mayberry". Not cheesy, just fun! Short drive. Nobels Restaurant in Carthage is a great place for lunch or dinner, Get the double Smashburger!

We love defeated creek. Couple things they really need to add is better wifi and a fishing pier inside campground. Kids and adults always fishing from courtesy dock and boats unable use for loading or unloading. Thanks

Wonderful and Beautiful place! Best COE park we have ever seen! Only issues are lack of good phone service which is also our internet provider. Local Tv stations you can get don’t have news and weather. Folks working there are very nice and helpful. Do not let your gps take you over the mountain with a rig!!!

Beautiful campground great for walking and bike riding. The guests before us left a lot of trash on the site which we cleaned up. Our site was not on the water and we did not have sewer hook up but it was still a perfect few days! We did not know about WiFi availability at one bath house until the last day.

Nice campground, bathrooms were very clean, people were friendly, lots of playgrounds for kids, nice trail to walk on. There's not many cars that travel through and that drive fast. We are so glad it is open in October. Loved all the decorations that campers sat out. We can't wait to get back next year!

Drove up (1.25 hrs), checked in, when to un-hook and had problems with landing gear. Come to find out there are no RV maintenance services available in the area. So, I got the landing gear up and when home. Come to find out we had a bad battery in the rv. Beautiful place and we will try again next year. But, if you are the #3 campground in AMERICA wouldn't you have the associations that go along with the self-proclaimed title????
