The park attendants / host were very friendly and very nice folks. Stayed in site 28 which was reasonably level for a gravel site. The campground is very nice, plenty of shade trees. The bathrooms/showers are some what dated and could stand to be updated. Even though I didn't use the clothes washers/dryers they appear to be new and free to use. There is a nice fish cleaning station located about the middle of the campground. Apparently someone camping at this site before me spilled what appeared to have been the remains of large pot of cooked pinto beans and obviously elected not to clean up their mess, and it was in fact a nasty mess. The campground is within 2 miles of a Sav-alot grocery store, Dollar General and a Dairy Queen. This was our second stay at this campground and would not hesitate to stay here again.

Everything was pretty good to great except the grass/weeds. It was way past time to cut. Both my wife and I found ticks on our body. That is never good.

Great campground that is well maintained with a location that is quite nice. My only negative comment would be the lack of signage throughout the campground directing you on how to get to certain sites. The main loop is pretty self-explanatory but there are sites that are on secondary loops and there are no signs directing you on how to find these sites. The sites in this secondary loop are 63-79 and it took me two trips around the main loop before I spotted the access to these sites designated only by some painted arrows on the road. Some clear and easy to see signs would make it much easier on campers looking for their site especially when arriving later when lighting is poor.

We love coming to Dale Hollow every year. The only negative issues we have with the campground is the Wifi needs some serious improvement given cell service is sketchy. Also the restrooms are long time overdue for renovation.
