It doesn't get any better when the weather is hot than camping under Dale Hollow Dam next to the Obey River ! Natures way of air conditioned camping. Lots of big trees for plenty of shade. I have camped their with temps in the upper 90's. We just went down to the river boat ramp with our chairs and stuck our legs in the water. That water when the dam is generating is cold, I mean turn your feet blue fast !

This is one of our favorite camping spots. We really enjoy the hiking trail and walking around the campground. The host was really nice and courteous.

The attendants at this camp are very helpful! Courteous & eager to help. however, there should be more rules pertaining to pets at the campsites. I realize some people are very attached to their dogs & other pets, BUT not everyone are that fond of them. The dogs are ok outside but keep them on your site...Not tied behind & on other peoples' sites! I didnot report them but should have. I am sure the attendants would have corrected this. But other than that, i really enjoy going to DHDS.
