Salt Lick Creek campground offers a peaceful and beautiful setting with spacious, well-maintained sites and friendly staff, making it a favorite for many campers. The clean facilities, abundant wildlife, and serene waterfront views enhance the overall experience, perfect for those looking to disconnect. While some reviewers noted issues with shower house cleanliness and limited cell service, the positive aspects, including safety and tranquility, consistently shine through.

We were in site 97 and the site was very nice. The shower house could use a better shower system. The shower water makes it way to the bench and what’s suppose to be the dry area. The campsites are very close together, almost sitting on top of each other.
That all being said, this is a very pretty campground. The hostess was full of energy when we checked in and explained it all very clearly. We saw deer every single time we made the circle (it’s a one way). The grounds are kept very well. This definitely a great place to camp!

We had a lovely time at Salt Lick and love all of the sites that are on the water.
A little off the grid with no cell or wi-fi except at the entrance but that was nice to be able to totally get away as well.
