Salt Lick Creek campground offers a peaceful and beautiful setting with spacious, well-maintained sites and friendly staff, making it a favorite for many campers. The clean facilities, abundant wildlife, and serene waterfront views enhance the overall experience, perfect for those looking to disconnect. While some reviewers noted issues with shower house cleanliness and limited cell service, the positive aspects, including safety and tranquility, consistently shine through.

This was our first time visiting Salt Lick Campground. We were at site 98. The picnic table was sitting on a slope to the point if you sit anything on it, it would roll off. There was plenty of level ground to put it on. So had no use of a table. The bath house showers needs some work. You could not even lock the door to shower, there was no hooks, bench, no shelf or anything to put you bath products on or even lay you towels and cloths.

Although, we didn't have any service at all, we had the perfect spot by the water. The campground was clean and quiet. Each site was comfortably spaced apart. As this was our first time taking our camper out, it will be very hard to beat this one.

This was our first time stay and we love it! It’s beautiful, peaceful, and family friendly! Lots of room on your sites, amazing views, sandy beach area with roped off swimming area, nice playground for the kiddos, staff are super friendly! We will got sure be coming back, I highly recommend! Also, not sure if it was just luck that we come on a weekend they had planned a carnival or if it is something they do, maybe they do different events, but that was also fun for the kids!

It rained during most of our stay but we were still able to enjoy kayaking in the mornings. Our camp site was very clean and level. Easy to launch the kayaks right at our site. We got there pretty late and had no issue using the code to get into the gate. The camp host visited us the next day to make sure everything was good and give us our car pass. We will definitely be back!
