STAYED AT SITE 73 IN THE CUT THROUGH. GREAT SHADY SITE. YOUNG LADY THAT RUNS THE CAMPGROUND ALWAYS GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND WITH HER SERVICE. ALWAYS ASKS IF WE NEED ANYTHING SPECIAL OF IF WE FORGOT SOMETHING THAT SHE MAY HAVE EXTRA. ONLY THING I CAN SAY IS THE SAME THING I HAVE SAID BEFORE. THE SITE NEEDS SOME GRAVEL. SOMEONE IN THE PAST HAS CUT DRAINAGE GROVES TO GET THE WATER TO DRAIN FROM UNDER THEIR TRAILER. IF IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A RAINY WEEK WE WOULD HAVE BEEN IN MUD.

Clean and neat camp site. The only complaint I have is the shower house does not have anywhere to put towel or clothing in shower. But everything else was clean.

Only thing missing is reliable cell signal or Wi-Fi. It is nice that you added a couple of stations at the bath houses but certainly a reliable cell signal for us streamers and folks that must stay connected would really increase these ratings to 5 stars +!

Camping was great. The bathhouses need benches some where to put your clothes and bathing supplies.

when we go camping we just want to be by ourselves and left alone. that is exactly what we have at salt lick.great large shady sites.quiet atmosphere.no hassles.the only improvement would be an earlier check-in.

We camped on Site 111. It was perfect! Close to the bath house and a feeling of being in the woods all day.

Everyone has to have lunch at Martin's gas station. Loved our camp site right on the water.

One of my favorite campgrounds. Love this place. Here are a few things to help you plan your visit....
Gated entry so it's nice knowing riff raff is t hanging out. Gate staff was friendly, bring them a treat, they are stuck in that booth all day.
Tent sites are huge and so nice. Clean and spacious. Water and electric hookups. So e sites are right in the water!!
No cell service at this park so be prepared for that. They do have wifi around the boat dock so that will help get your fix if needed.
Bathhouses are nice. Bring an over the door hook for your clothing. The showers are kind of a wreck. Nowhere to put your belongings and the water sprays everywhere and all over the floor. But hey, I am blessed to get a hot shower while camping.
Fishing, swimming, basketball, volleyball and hanging out are all available.
If you need to go shopping the closest store is Dollar General in Gainsboro (about 20 minutes away)
Again, love this place and we will be back!!!!
