Nice campground but it needs some TLC. Roads need repair, bathhouse/bathrooms weren’t cleaned. Trash and litter in the ditches. But a nice quiet place to camp.

We had the best spot! Beautiful waterfront view with FHU. It rained a little every day which cooled it off and made it so much more enjoyable. The staff are so friendly and helpful.Going back in a few weeks!!!

We had a great spot #143
My husband had a very bad E Bike accident and if it hadn't been for the woman working the gate, I don't know what I would have done.
Her name is Lillian and she was awesome in getting us help.

The spot is as wonderful and the people were nice. But my loved pet jack Russell was one of the several that got very sick from drinking the tap water. If they would have just put up a sign saying not to let the dogs drink it she would have been fine. Instead I got to leave early, pay a vet bill, and go through a week of meds and special food care just so she could live.

The shower house closest to us was closed early in our stay due to a drainage problem and bugs overtook the next closest bathroom leaving it very undesirable at one point. Those were the only issues keeping it from getting 5 stars. I will definitely return. It is a great place, peaceful, not too many boats close by making it safer for non motorized lake activities. All around good vacation!

Love Salt Lick Creek! Sites are large and well maintained. This is one of our favorite places to stay! There isn’t much cell signal so recommend using Starlink or something for WiFi.

Park service was great, however the restrooms were not so great
Would still like to see improvements in the WiFi service at this park. Neighboring parks have figured this out, I just hope you all can too,
Thanks

The campsite was great. The area was clean, as well as somebody left some wood to burn as well. The only thing is, I wish there could be all new bathrooms and bathhouses. I have been camping at Salt Lick for a lot of years, over ten. Is there anyway to make this possible? One would think as many as people camp there, enough money is being made to do this. What would it take to get this done? Also more wifi. Other than that, this is my number one place to camp. Thank you to the check in people that are nice. Plus all that is done for the kids, to be involved with activities. I feel like the whole campground is a safe place for kids to ride bikes or walk, don’t have to be afraid. By all means, always keep a watch over any child, not just your own. Always keep Salt Lick around. Thank you. VB
