Salt Lick Creek campground offers a peaceful and beautiful setting with spacious, well-maintained sites and friendly staff, making it a favorite for many campers. The clean facilities, abundant wildlife, and serene waterfront views enhance the overall experience, perfect for those looking to disconnect. While some reviewers noted issues with shower house cleanliness and limited cell service, the positive aspects, including safety and tranquility, consistently shine through.

Wi-fi is almost non-existent. I know the US Army of Engineers can do better at providing service.

Make sure you plan your route. Don't just follow your GPS unless you want to climb mountains for no good reason. You are better to stay a little east of the campground through a small town. The campground is beautiful!!
A local place called Wild Wood has an outstanding restaurant.

Beautiful campground. Site 5 was perfect for my 2 dogs, they had room without being on top of anyone else. Lots of wildlife. No service at sight, but had WiFi by entrance and one of the bathrooms
