Very nice campground. Lots of waterfront sites. Our grandsons loved it. Great playground and basketball court.

It was ok. We were given the wrong site and had to move. Was told our names were spelled exactly the same but they were not
Our name has a “e” on the end of it.
I questioned the check in and was told oh this is correct. Needless to say we had to move. Wasn’t happy. Beautiful park otherwise!

Great sites, but need a handicap shower. What's up with that. How does a Federal Park get away with that. If I fall and sue it will close this park down,then nobody gets to enjoy. Let me know something.

If you ever want to really unplug from your phone and internet. Salt lick Creek Campground is the place to go. I really enjoyed the site (83) I had. You had to go down by the river to get phone service just to make phone calls. You can also go to restroom#4 to get internet if needed.
I like to kayak so this site was one of the best I could ask for. It was not crowded with sites too close. Also I take my Yorkie (Baby T) with me. He really likes to walk and ride on the kayak.
Thank you to all the workers for such a pleasant time.

Beautiful quiet campground on the river. Sites are large and some have full hook ups Cell phone service is minimal but WiFi is available at one of the bathhouses.

Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
