Great campground. Well maintained with plenty of shady sites on the water. Nice swim area. Love the fact you have no cell service or WiFi except next to the check in booth.
It would be nice to have 2 dump stations to aide with the line up to dump and maybe some seating near the booth for the times you may need to check for messages or make a call.

Well maintained and quiet! Except for the kids who had an abundance of space to play and be kids! Very friendly staff. Make sure you drive in from the west (Carthage) if you have a large rig! The drive down from Glasgow was very difficult in my large class A.

If you ever want a place that is clean, quiet and off the grid, this is the place you want. The restrooms and bath house is very clean.
It was really windy the weekend I went. I really enjoy the river. I kayak and love the time out on the river. The workout on my kayak was really good. I was in site #59 right on the creek side of the campground.

This is one of our favorite COEs. Excellent staff. Always clean and well maintained. Sites are almost always well spaced and extremely beautiful. Stay away from sites 100 and 104.

Even though this is a really big campground, sites are far enough apart that you are not right on top of your neighbor. There are many like front sites here and the campground is very clean. The only negative is there is no cell service or wi-fi unless you go up to the check in gate.

SALT LICK IS THE ONLY CAMPGROUND WE STAY AT. QUIET AND PEACEFUL. SEE ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS ABOUT CELL SERVICE BUT THAT IS WHAT WE LIKE. A TRUE GET-A-WAY WITH NO INTERRUPTIONS. IN THE PAST WE HAVE MADE SOME ERRORS IN OUR RESERVATIONS BUT LIZZY CHAMBERS HELPED US OUT AND SAVED OUR TRIP
