Salt Lick Creek campground offers a peaceful and beautiful setting with spacious, well-maintained sites and friendly staff, making it a favorite for many campers. The clean facilities, abundant wildlife, and serene waterfront views enhance the overall experience, perfect for those looking to disconnect. While some reviewers noted issues with shower house cleanliness and limited cell service, the positive aspects, including safety and tranquility, consistently shine through.

This campground is spacious with many lake front sites. We were able to move to a lake site after the weekend; very peaceful. Some sites are without sewer but there is a dump on site. The camp host, Robert, was so very helpful and pleasant. He gets five stars! No doubt we’ll be back!

Salt Lick is a very beautiful place to camp. Sites are large and spacious. There are plenty of places to walk and lots of wildlife to see. The only negative is no WiFi and no cell phone service. They do have a place at the gate and at bathhouse 4 to connect to WiFi, but it’s very limited. Other than that, it is a great place to camp.
