Salt Lick is a very relaxing campground to stay at. The sites are spacious with plenty of room between campsites. We saw wildlife everyday we were there. We changed sites after being there for a week due to not being able to book that site longer. After moving sites we noticed no one moved a camper on the site we left only a boat, and this was a sewer site. Which are hard to get. I suggest only booking sewer sites to RV and Trailers. More trees need to be planted to replace the ones that have been cut down or have died. Some sites don’t have much shade.

The campgrounds were amazing. Travel is a little hairy the last 2 miles. Especially when you’re pulling a 40ft fifth wheel. No phone reception, get gas before you head down back roads. If you need to get fuel it a travel to closest gas station.

- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
