Salt Lick Creek campground offers a peaceful and beautiful setting with spacious, well-maintained sites and friendly staff, making it a favorite for many campers. The clean facilities, abundant wildlife, and serene waterfront views enhance the overall experience, perfect for those looking to disconnect. While some reviewers noted issues with shower house cleanliness and limited cell service, the positive aspects, including safety and tranquility, consistently shine through.

Pretty big campground. It has some really nice views. It’s very popular which means very full on the weekends. We only looked in the bathhouse once and did not find them very clean but we did see a cleaning company come out a couple of times while we were there. The sites are spaced out ok but some sites tended to have more than multiple vehicles occupying them so some additional spacing could be needed. Our site was fairly clean with ample shade. It was on a hill but leveled out on the top for the most part.

We had a lovely time at Salt Lick and love all of the sites that are on the water.
A little off the grid with no cell or wi-fi except at the entrance but that was nice to be able to totally get away as well.
