Salt Lick Creek campground offers a peaceful and beautiful setting with spacious, well-maintained sites and friendly staff, making it a favorite for many campers. The clean facilities, abundant wildlife, and serene waterfront views enhance the overall experience, perfect for those looking to disconnect. While some reviewers noted issues with shower house cleanliness and limited cell service, the positive aspects, including safety and tranquility, consistently shine through.

Site required backing up a steep hill. Site listed as 70 ft but only 40 of it was level. Was moved to an emergency over flow site for a week of our 2 week stay. Did not have a site for us the second week. Made arrangements to go somewhere else.

This was our second stay at Salt Lick and we love it! We booked months in advance to have a spot near the waters edge, which was amazing! We could wake in the morning, make coffee, then step 10 ft outside to fish off the bank! We saw several deer roaming the park to graze, large fish in the water (just didn't catch any), and lots of birds. The camp hosts are very friendly and welcoming upon arrival. We will definitely be returning!!

What a wonderful place to camp. The ease of parking, the cleanliness of the entire campground and the friendliness of the camp hosts, from the moment we reached the entrance were all perfect. We have already reserved our next camping trip to Salt Lick Creek. If I had to post something negative, we almost dropped a back tire off the pavement as we navigated around a curve just after leaving the gated area on our way out. With a full size Dually and a 34' camper, we were a bit on the long side.
