Salt Lick Creek campground offers a peaceful and beautiful setting with spacious, well-maintained sites and friendly staff, making it a favorite for many campers. The clean facilities, abundant wildlife, and serene waterfront views enhance the overall experience, perfect for those looking to disconnect. While some reviewers noted issues with shower house cleanliness and limited cell service, the positive aspects, including safety and tranquility, consistently shine through.

We always have a wonderful time at Salt Lick! The camping sites are awesome, very family friendly, kept extremely clean and the management is great! I would always recommend this campground to anyone!

Our site was very good but the bathhouse was very poor (no clothes hooks, no handicap rails, tiny stalls) and only two bathhouses for 150 campsites is TOTALLY INADEQUATE. Existing bathhouses need extreme makeover and at least one more needs to be built. We will probably visit Salt Lick again but only if we can get one of the few sewer sites.
