Salt Lick Creek campground offers a peaceful and beautiful setting with spacious, well-maintained sites and friendly staff, making it a favorite for many campers. The clean facilities, abundant wildlife, and serene waterfront views enhance the overall experience, perfect for those looking to disconnect. While some reviewers noted issues with shower house cleanliness and limited cell service, the positive aspects, including safety and tranquility, consistently shine through.

Great place for families to visit. We come often with our kids and meet the grandparents. Swimming is great in the summer, but biking, fishing, volleyball, and basketball are great year-round. The playground is a great place for kids to make new friends, and it's easy to keep an eye on it from a distance.
The facilities are maintained and kept clean, and the campsites are in good condition. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets across the water on both sides.
The cell signal is virtually nonexistent, which I personally love. It's a forced way to disconnect from the rest of the world and focus on what's most important: the family and friends you're with. If you need your phone to survive (for business/personal reasons), then this is not the place for you.

Even though it was cooler than I would have liked. I really enjoyed the kayaking with my little Yorkie (Baby T).
