Salt Lick Creek campground offers a peaceful and beautiful setting with spacious, well-maintained sites and friendly staff, making it a favorite for many campers. The clean facilities, abundant wildlife, and serene waterfront views enhance the overall experience, perfect for those looking to disconnect. While some reviewers noted issues with shower house cleanliness and limited cell service, the positive aspects, including safety and tranquility, consistently shine through.

Salt Lick is a very relaxing campground to stay at. The sites are spacious with plenty of room between campsites. We saw wildlife everyday we were there. We changed sites after being there for a week due to not being able to book that site longer. After moving sites we noticed no one moved a camper on the site we left only a boat, and this was a sewer site. Which are hard to get. I suggest only booking sewer sites to RV and Trailers. More trees need to be planted to replace the ones that have been cut down or have died. Some sites don’t have much shade.

The campgrounds were amazing. Travel is a little hairy the last 2 mi. Especially when you’re pulling a 40 ft fifth wheel. No phone reception, get gas before you head down back roads. If you need to get fuel it a travel to closest gas station.

Just love spending camping time with my family just wish they had spots for a group camping we usually get 3 spots and are never facing each other wish they could fix it where we had spots we could all share and set together without having to go to 1 campsite to be together

This is a really pretty COE park that is well maintained and has friendly staff at the gate. There is a nice beach for swimming and the lake is great for kayaking or fishing. The downsides are that not many sites have full hookups with sewer, there is no wi-fi, and cell phone signal is virtually non-existent. If you're okay being "unplugged" I highly recommend Salt Lick Creek.
