Pretty campground by the creek. But pretty noisy. Lots of people coming and going, staying only for one night. Violating quiet hours and no campground host to rein them in. Restrooms get dirty and are not cleaned often. Not a lot of privacy between sites. No brush or shrubs to screen you from other campers.

Great small campsite, nice creek to swim in and good walking trails from the grounds. Best sites are 1-9 on the creek but all are good (15 a bit squished close between 14 & 16). Water, flush toilets, trash receptacles and bear food boxes provided. I would return!!!

Enjoyed this campground right on the creek. Rain made it less than fun that weekend, but the hiking adjacent to it is outstanding. Loved being able to have some meaningful hiking from base camp without need of driving.

Quiet little campground for tent camping only which is nice, do not have to deal with noisy RVs. Warning tho, no public showers.

The campground is very nice and the facilities ,though basic, are functional. There is no signal at the site but there is a call box to contact emergency personnel. One problem and a solution was that our tent site was located immediately by the path to the lavatory and a scant 15 feet from the next sites fire ring location. There was a reunion of sorts going on there and, though not loud, the other campers talked around the campfire until 2 am making it hard to sleep. If the tent platfom could be moved to the other side of the site, away from neighboring activity it would help make that site
to be as enjoyable as the others.

It's so remote it's awesome! It was so peaceful and quiet. A picturesque steam by in the mountains. The next time I'm in the area I will definitely stay there again.

The area was beautiful and clean. The first night there a bunch of kids came in about 11:00 that night which completely changed the experience for ALL the campers there. They were loud (unpacking) drinking and proceeded to “party” until 7:00 the next morning. I don’t think anyone got any sleep. Using the phone at the rangers station that morning, we called and rangers were there within 30 minutes. They “kids” were asked to leave and were indeed gone by the time we return from our hike later that afternoon. Had they not left we would not have stayed or second night. We were glad to see that that situation was handled and our second night there was much more pleasant.
