What Guests Are Saying
Rock Creek Recreation Area is highly praised for its peaceful and spacious campsites, excellent amenities like electricity, and access to beautiful hiking and biking trails. Many visitors enjoyed the clean facilities, friendly campground hosts, and the scenic wooded surroundings. While some noted minor issues such as limited water flow at spigots and lack of phone service, these were overshadowed by the overall positive experiences and the intention to return.

Nice smaller campground. We have only used C loop because it has 50 Amp. Clean, shaded, but a little tight. Have a Class A and all of C loop is ok with the exception of C 28. 28 is a great spot but the entry is a tough angle to back into. Rest rooms are clean and everyone is friendly. Also if you eat out go to PALS burgers. Exit 36 I think. Great burgers.
This is an easy area to enjoy with an outstatnding water fall hike. A little steep but well worth it. Plenty of additional not so steep hikes available.

We love it. However, dimes phones have no signal and no WiFi. It is always beautiful. There is close hiking and fever activities not far away. There is always something going on in the town. The real negative this trip is on the park service for closing the park on oct 15, then turning around and opening back up without notifying those with reservations that we could get more days. Really inconvenienced our weekend.
