Lovely small campground with electric only hookups! Big level sites with loads of space in between all underneath the canopy with plenty of shade! Beautiful natural environment surrounds with excellent hiking trails etc! We have a 34 ft Class A and although was able to negotiate to the campsite it might have been difficult for a longer unit. Everyone very friendly! Bathrooms clean! Hunting dogs in the distance were a bit of a distraction as bear season opened while we were here on this weekend. Otherwise great spot great environment great hiking! We will be back!!!

My only complaint was no soap or hand sanitizer in the bathrooms. Great hiking and beautiful campground. The acorns falling from the mighty oaks were a hazard to be sure - the roof of our pop-up camper has more than a few pits on it now ... just a little more character, but when an acorn landed on the roof in the middle of the night ... it was loud and alarming!

Beautiful National Forest campground located 1/2 way up the mountain outside Erwin, TN. The campground features deep, level sites, well spaced on three loops. All of the sites have electric and only loop C has 50 amp service. Fill with water at the dump station on your way in. There are 5 nice tent only walk in sites located at the end of the road. There are two nice trails that lead directly from the campground. Reservations are recommended for weekend stays.

From I-26 take exit 34 to Main Street (TN107) in Erwin, take TN 395 east for 3.5 miles to Rock Creek Recreation Area.
Rock Creek Recreation Area is accessible via US Highway 321, which is approximately 10 miles away. Interstate 26 is also within 20 miles, providing connections to the broader highway network.

- Food and trash must be stored in hard-sided containers or vehicles to prevent bear attractants; violations may result in fines.
Fires & fuel
- Firewood should be obtained locally and burned on-site to prevent pest spread; moving firewood may be illegal.
- Fires must be contained within designated fire rings; burning of plastic or non-wood materials is prohibited.
Safety & rules
- The campground prohibits firearms, fireworks, alcohol, illegal drugs, and public nudity.
Vehicles & parking
- Vehicles must be parked within designated areas, without extending onto the road or into the woods.
Site capacity
- All equipment must remain within the campsite and sites should be kept tidy.
- Single sites allow up to 5 people and 2 tents; double sites allow up to 10 people and 4 tents.
Pets
- Pets must be crated or leashed to a maximum of 6 feet.
Utilities
- Water spigots are communal and shared among sites.

- Sites 6, 10, 17, 20, and 21 are double sites and are not eligible for interagency pass discounts.
