Loved the campsite and area. Would have been better if fewer dogs were barking.

Loved this camp site! Only think is if you are needing the Wifi you may want to be closer to the check in building we would not get it to work at the site to watch the football game.

Long branch is a really nice campground on the Caney River just below the Center Hill Dam. Easy access off I-40 between Knoxville and Nashville, TN.

The old people that run this campground are very rude and appropriate jerks, and they lie and they make up their own rules. They don’t follow the check in time. They cuss at you and I will not come back until they are no longer there.

I could not get to my campsite until 530 even though it says check-in is 330 I said well just let me have the campsite that those people were going to move to. I’m only here two nights anyway he said no I can’t do that blah blah blah. So my four-year-old and my year-old me and my wife had to sit in a campsite that we couldn’t set up in for two hours because he didn’t make the people leave by 2:30. The old man I believe Ken is his name was not apologetic about. It just said hey, this stuff happens. I’ve been coming here for 20 years. I will not come back until he and his wife, who obviously don’t care about other peoples time are removed from this campground.

Beautiful, relaxing little campground at the base of an amazing Corps of Engineers dam. The sites are level gravel with a good shade/sun ratio, nice new metal picnic tables and good spacing from neighbors. Some are located above a river or next to a stream There are two bath houses with showers that are sparkling clean and even have washers and dryers. The only downfall--if it can be called that--is the lack of an internet connection unless you're sitiing outside the front bathroom. All in all, a great stop.
