This camp site was wonderful. We only stayed there one night but the splendor of looking up at the stars without the light pollution and listening to nature without noise pollution has us planning to return for a longer period of time. My rig is 58 feet long bumper to bumper and I had little difficulty getting in and out of our camp site which was in one of the far back loops. My rig is also pretty tall as well so the only thing I would say is that if your rig is tall too, pay attention to the tree branches. They are easily maneuvered around so just be situationally aware.

This was a great park for us. We paddle boarded on the Caney Fork and could leave right from our campsite! We dropped a car downstream. The camp ground was clean and well maintained. My only concern was the guy at the gate noted my friend driving out of the park going the wrong way. He was screaming mad and let her know all about it. He was a total jerk following that incident. My friend was not speeding or maliciously going the wrong way on purpose. It was a mistake and the host was a jerk. Babs, the other person I was in contact with at the entrance, was great. Super friendly and kind.

There is no sign at the dam to guide you to the campground and the campground is not visible from the roadway; we ended going way past the campground before we realized that we had passed it and turned back. Otherwise, the campground was very nice, though different from most COE campgrounds that are usually located right next to the water. This one is on a plateau above the river and as far as I could tell, there was only one narrow set of steps that led to the water level, but at the bottom of the steps there was nothing to stand on.
