The park manager was friendly and most helpful. We loved its convenience to launching our kayak on the Caney Fork River as well as adjacent access to Center Hill Lake. It is a definite return visit site for us!

Only thing the power went out for 9 hours but I know it was not Long Branch fault.

Very clean. Workers cleaned constantly. Person at the gate was too involved and bossy.

Love this campground, we stayed 2 times in a month. Peaceful and quiet except for the weekends.
Please PLEASE put a repeater for the Wi-Fi since cell reception is not great in that area. LOVE that laundry is available, sites are large! Really nice Army Corps campground!

Long Branch is a great campground. Located adjacent to the Caney Fork River, which is perfect for kayaking or canoeing. Center Hill lake is right around the corner for boating and fishing. The campground is spacious and well taken care of. Bath houses are clean and fully operational. Cell service is limited to one or two bars. There is wi-fi at the campground but service is limited to the area around the main bathhouse. I have camped here multiple times and will return in the future.

Enjoyed most of our weekend stay @ site #9. The grounds are well kept there and give ample space to each camper. The only issue we had was the smoke created by most everyone gilling or building fires in the late afternoon and early evening. Our dogs were choking and we ended up just going inside. We think the concentrated smoke was caused by the location of the campground being at such a low level (below the dam) and the steep hills and trees that surrounded us. Perhaps had there been some breeze or wind it might not had been so noticeable. We plan to return in a couple of weeks and hope we see a difference, if not we will retreat again and consider our future stays at Long Branch. It might be different too had we stayed during the week. Maybe not so many campers. Otherwise a lovey place to camp!
