Love this campground! If you book early enough, book one of the sites along the river. Even numbers up to 24. It is a great view, the fog comes in along the water. Very cool. There is laundry at two locations on the grounds. Privacy and plenty of room between sites. The interior of the ring sites…not so much privacy, but bigger rigs will like the space.

Well cared for facilities in a great, beautiful fishing spot. Not crowded during our mid August Monday Tuesday stay. Friendly, professional Staff.

Campground was very nice - clean and quiet. Bathhouses were also clean and had hot water. Staff was friendly. We kayaked the Caney while we were there. We put in at the boat ramp right beside the campground, which was very convenient, then floated down to Betty's Island ramp. Beautiful river with clear water, but stays very cold year round so not ideal for swimming. I would definitely recommend this campground.

This is probably one of the best kept COE parks I've stayed at so far. Really, really well maintained and well laid out. The only reason I took one star away is because the sites don't have sewer, and the wi-fi was inconsistent. Overall it's a great value though, and I'd go back in a heartbeat. If you're into fishing you'll love the river and lake. We don't fish, but found Cummins Falls and Burgess Falls nearby made for great day trips.
