The park is really nice and quiet. Big sites and right on the river. The only two things that we didn't like was the grass was too tall and a lot of the limbs along the road needed to be trimmed to keep them from dragging on your RV.

Very quiet and loved to watch the river. Would be better if the under brush cleared

The campground has large level campsites with easy access in and out without work of hitting trees or obstacles. I have stayed at three different sites and and my last stay was on site 25. Although it is a great site there was an oder of sewage from time to time. After staying there I went back and read some reviews and apparently this has been an issue for some time. This is the only place I have noticed this issue. Other than that the bathhouse's, campsites and the campground are very well maintained. Clean, quiet, friendly hosts, easy access, swingsets for children, dog friendly, picnic area and easy access to the river. I would not recommend using the campgrounds boat ramp! It's very steep, and with the rise and fall of the river during turbine generation, it is extremely slick! I would suggest going across the dam and using the boatramp directly across the river from the campground. Plenty of parking for cars and vehicles with trailers. Great fishing, Great place for kayaks and Caney Fork Outdoors and market are right down the road.
