We didn't get the opportunity to spend the night, but the main purpose of this rental was to be able to have a place to cook a shore lunch after returning from a kayak trip. This was a perfect setup and location for this, and the camp ranger was fantastic in working with us to make it a great place to have our lunch.

We have a annual camping trip every year. This one was the best year because of the new staff. Melissa is one of the best staff i have ever met at any camp ground we have stayed at. Friendly and courteous to all us makes her the best.

I love this camp ground. The spots are open so you aren’t on top of your neighbors. Also the camp host are great!

We had the best time!! Long Branch is one of our favorite campgrounds. The new host(s) makes all the difference!! Very friendly people, who care, & goes the extra mile to help all the campers!!

PLEASE CLEAN OUT FIRE PITS. 1 OF OURS WAS FULL OF CIGAR BUTTS THAT WE HAD TO CLEAN OUT. OUR OTHER SITE HAD A HUGE ANT HILL AND THERE WAS NOWAY TO HAVE A FIRE? NEW MGMT BUT STILL NEEDS TO LEARN ABOUT CLEANING.

Campgrpund was great beside the fact that I was rudely spoke to when calling to see if I could change to a open site and was told id have to cancel and eat the $40 and rebook the other site rather then them being able to just transfer me to the open shadier site

This is a great campground if you kayak and fish. Not much else around. No cell or no TV Channels. The biggest problem is the last two nights , there was a large group and they were very loud and disrespectful til after midnight both night. Nothing was done about it.

Getting There
From I-40, take exit 268 and merge onto US-96 west. Continue for 5 mi to the end of Center Hill Dam, then turn right on SR-141. Follow signs into campground.
Highway access
Access to Long Branch is available from I-40 via exit 268, merging onto US-96 west for approximately 5 miles before turning onto SR-141.
Policies & Rules
General
- Only licensed vehicles are permitted. Each campsite is provided for two pre-paid vehicle entry. Additional vehicles, or visitors to campers are charged $3 fee per vehicle.
- Only two tents allowed per site. Tents must be placed on campsite pads. Only one wheeled camping unit allowed to each site.
- Campers are prohibited from leaving their boat trailers in the day use parking area. All equipment must be kept on site.
- Firewood Alert: When picnicking at this recreation area, purchase your firewood from a vendor who sells certified heat-treated firewood. Don't bring firewood from home. To help prevent the spread of the Emerald ash borer and other forest pests, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is prohibiting firewood that is non certified heat-treated firewood. - Payments will be limited to credit card transactions only.
- We need your help to maintain our campsites. Please dispose of all trash and litter along with extinguishing any fire and dispose of ashes in the fire ring upon departure. If sites are left trashed, you may be cited by Title 36 Code of Federal Regulation 327.9 Sanitation part (d). “Campers, picknickers, and all other persons using a water resources development project shall keep their sites free of trash and litter during the period of occupancy and shall remove all personal equipment and clean their sites upon departure”.
