The campground is well maintained, sites easy in & out, spaced out nicely. Nice to have laundry & wifi access, although not where we were parked. We were there during weekdays & place was packed with lots of families. Since location is not wilderness or even with campsite access to water with paddle boat, probably no reason to come back.

Beautiful campground along the river. Early morning fog on the river and hill tops.

My son and I were suppose to stay 3 nights however after 1 night we left. The host was an older very rude man. He seemed as if it was his property instead of being a host. I’ve never experienced anyone more rude at a campsite as many places that I have stayed. I reported him the same night that I tried to cancel for a refund. I had to pay $20. To cancel and was treated so rudely that I could not wait until daybreak to get gone. Let’s just say Edgar Evian is so much more of a welcoming friendly campground. Very glad it wasn’t far down the road. I will never be back to this very small campground with a very rude host !!!

Nice well kept campground on Caney Fork River. Level sites and river access. Popular river for canoe and kayaking at base of Center Hill Lake Dam. Water levels vary with generator schedule and not a good place for swimming but excellent launch point for a river trip.

I give this location a 3 stars because there was not a lot of shade on my site. Also it’s right below the Dam and when we went it had rained a lot and I felt that I was going to get flooded there was also a very egg smell in the air coming from River. We moved to the state park this next day. It’s perfect location for fishing or launching your boat or kayak. No so great for camping experience. But the bathrooms were very nice and clean. Also the little table with a roof was nice to have specially for cooking. I’m sure it was for fish gutting. I love that is pet friendly.
