I give this location a 3 stars because there was not a lot of shade on my site. Also it’s right below the Dam and when we went it had rained a lot and I felt that I was going to get flooded there was also a very egg smell in the air coming from River. We moved to the state park this next day. It’s perfect location for fishing or launching your boat or kayak. No so great for camping experience. But the bathrooms were very nice and clean. Also the little table with a roof was nice to have specially for cooking. I’m sure it was for fish gutting. I love that is pet friendly.

Campground is well spaced out. Trees have not been trimmed in a long time. If you have, a tall camper the road in from the interstate and the campground have some low hanging limbs. Be careful and try to avoid. I got damage in the campground getting into site.

The folks at check-in were very pleasant and helpful. The area was very clean and neat and the lot was flat. The lot was easy to back my 39' DP into. Loved being next to the Caney Fork launch area. Went for a great kayak ride. It was easy to put the kayaks in the water and then drive down to the exit area at Happy Hollow to leave the trailer.

Our favorite campground. We were so thankful to spend the weekend at the Caney. We love the couple that oversees Long Branch. Can't wait to go back!

We LOVE Long Branch!!! The host/hostess are awesome! My husband loves to pick on Ken and he gives it right back! His personality fits the host job perfectly!!! Our last trip, there was a girl Park Ranger who had a chalk drawing contest that was so much fun!!! We love to go kayaking.

This has been our favorite location thus far. We weren't sure about it when we booked it online, but what a pleasant surprise. The drive to it was beautiful. As you are crossing a 700 ft high dam, you look below down to the river and you see the campground. We were on spot #10 and felt like it was the best spot in the campground. Nestled up by the river, the spots were far enough apart, the bathrooms were clean, the hosts were gracious and helpful. The only complaints are that the wifi doesn't reach through the whole campground and there aren't very many full hookups here, but I could have cared less. It was all made up for with the location and the hospitality. We would definitely be eager to return here again. The Corps of Engineers have done a great job at this location.
