The camp host could have been more friendly and outgoing when dealing with campers. Instead of using both windows on the checking station he would motion you to exit and drive back in to talk with him when he could of slid the window open and answered your concerns. The backup host that filled in on the days the regular host was off was a much friendlier person.

I always enjoy Long Branch. The sites are always clean and the restrooms always well stocked. Will definitely go back again.

The campground host was absolutely terrible. He has to be the rudest human in Tennessee, but the campground is great!

Great campground ran by ACOE. No AT&T service. Verizon worked great. Was able to stream via sim card via our Pepwave router. Our site (53) was able to get dish network standard definition only. Our dish would not lock on to 129. Clean bathrooms and friendly people at the guardhouse. Will definitely return.

I stayed there 5 days, very good experience, Very nice size lots very quiet. I stayed on #41 which was near the road side, I heard very little road noise. Staff was very nice. I was gone most of the day twice no body bothered anything. My frost proof faucet was leaking a little. I told them, that afternoon they were there to fix it. Park is next to Center Hill dam and Caney Fork river and boat ramp. Very clean and well kept 30/50 amp connections w/water. No sewer hook ups on lots but convenient dump site. Bathhouse very clean and well kept. Will defiantly stay again. Only DRAWBACK 10-15 miles from anything. get what you need before you go in. 4 STARS PS at exit 273 the restaurant behind the Shew station (Rose Garden)

If sites are left trashed, you may be cited by Title 36 Code of Federal Regulation 327.9 Sanitation part (d). “Campers, picknickers, and all other persons using a water resources development project shall keep their sites free of trash and litter during the period of occupancy and shall remove all personal equipment and clean their sites upon departure”. |
