Campground was clean and beautiful. Sites were ample and well taken care of. Our site was along the river and the view was beautiful.

Park is nice. Not anything to do unless you are fishing or on the water. I really wanted to like the place and have a great experience. I had hoped to add this park to my list, but the guy working the shack was such a jerk. He was the worst I have experienced in a campground ever. He was so over the top. He screamed at my daughter to the point of making her cry. He stopped me and was hollering at me as I tried to gain re-entry into the park after checking out the dam. I had my car tag displayed and everything, but he thought it necessary to holler and carry on like I was doing something wrong. I will never return to this park as long as this jerk is there. As a side note the have "rules " that are only enforced on some people while the majority of others can do as they please and nothing is said.

The grounds, camp site that we had (we camped in a 28 foot motorhome) and the one bath house that I visited were excellent. The camp host, his name was Ken, was very friendly, personable and helpful with answers to my questions.

Hosts were especially helpful when needing to make adjustments to check-in requirements and reservation changes.
A very close (5 miles) dining location is the Rose Garden Restaurant, one interchange further East on I-40. Their menu is varied with daily "blue plate specials" and great pie choices for desert.

The park was very clean and well taken care of. Gatekeeper was very, very helpful! I needed a tire problem looked at and he recommended a good friend's tire shop and explained how to get there. He also told me the best was to travel to my next destination!

Great fishing and kayaking. Must visit Lost Pond. It is a nice ride and visit to an Amish and Mennonite community.

A well maintained campground will ample sized parking for many sizes of rv’s. We chose our site using the online rec.gov Website so we were limited in what we could see online and get a good idea of the park layout. The map scale is sometimes skewed.in the future, I would Not pick site 57 as the firepit is poorly placed between the wooden fence and the picnic table. This made it very difficult to enjoy to its fullest.

From I-40, take exit 268 and merge onto US-96 west. Continue for 5 miles to the end of Center Hill Dam, then turn right on SR-141. Follow signs into campground.
Access to Long Branch is available from I-40 via exit 268, merging onto US-96 west for approximately 5 miles before turning onto SR-141.

Policies & Rules
General
- Only licensed vehicles are permitted. Each campsite is provided for two pre-paid vehicle entry. Additional vehicles, or visitors to campers are charged $3 fee per vehicle.
- Only two tents allowed per site. Tents must be placed on campsite pads. Only one wheeled camping unit allowed to each site.
- Campers are prohibited from leaving their boat trailers in the day use parking area. All equipment must be kept on site.
- Firewood Alert: When picnicking at this recreation area, purchase your firewood from a vendor who sells certified heat-treated firewood. Don't bring firewood from home. To help prevent the spread of the Emerald ash borer and other forest pests, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is prohibiting firewood that is non certified heat-treated firewood. - Payments will be limited to credit card transactions only.
- We need your help to maintain our campsites. Please dispose of all trash and litter along with extinguishing any fire and dispose of ashes in the fire ring upon departure. If sites are left trashed, you may be cited by Title 36 Code of Federal Regulation 327.9 Sanitation part (d). “Campers, picknickers, and all other persons using a water resources development project shall keep their sites free of trash and litter during the period of occupancy and shall remove all personal equipment and clean their sites upon departure”.
