My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Obey River Campground. The attendants, Jeff and Lisa, made the camping trip even more enjoyable as they worked with us when we wanted to change campsites. They changed our reservation site and extended our dates in just a matter of minutes. They have always been very helpful when we have stayed here in the past. We like the convenience of Obey River Campground to Hwy. 111 and also like that it's only a short drive to the city of Byrdstown where you can find restaurants and stores. The lake is always enjoyable as well and it's especially convenient to have a private boat ramp for those who are camping. We're already looking forward to our next stay here.

We have been coming here for over 20 years. Campground is clean, bathrooms are kept nice, love the a/c in the bathroom by the front gate so much nicer then the others. Biggest issue is the fact that the dock next to the ramp has not been replaced since the storms 2 years ago. People are having to wade up the boat ramp which is very dangerous, I saw several people slip sliding up and down it. This is very unsafe!!!! Please bring back our dock!
