This campground is absolutely our favorite place! The facilities are clean, areas are always well maintained, scenery is great, & the hosts (Jeff & Lisa Harper) are fantastic! This is a family oriented campground, relaxed, safe, friendly, & just the perfect get-away spot.

Obey River Campground is our favorite place to camp. Jeff and Lisa are wonderful attendants. The campground is always clean and is convenient to beautiful Dale Hollow Lake. It’s also conveniently located near the city of Byrdstown where there are several stores and restaurants to choose from.

Nice large sites, easy access, beautiful lake views. Shower house was clean, but the water never really got hot, luke warm at best.

We had site 128, absolute best of both worlds. You have trees/woods on one side and Lakeview on other! Large enough area for our 30ft TT, fairly level side to side. Lots of parking, very warm welcome! Quiet, well spaced sites with a few closer together for family/friends. Clean bathrooms, and FREE washer/dryers!! Loved our stay and will be back in warmer weather.
