Park attendants were very helpful to find us a site that was full hookup as we were told couldn't use generator. Husband has to have electricity for oxygen at night.
Restrooms were clean but hard to find warm water for showers.
Appreciative of the laundry facilities too as we had 4 kids part of the trip

Beautiful campground. Everyone (employees & volunteers) were kind, considerate and helpful. Bathrooms were clean, well stocked. I would recommend this campground to anyone.

Jeff was great as usual, he is always helpful. Our campsite was great, it’s our favorite.
The water heater wasn’t working in the bath house next to the dump station. I told Carl about it, but it didn’t get fixed. Cold showers aren’t fun. All the bath houses need major updates.
The water levels were so low we didn’t launch our boat. It appeared to be at winter levels a little early.

We had great weather the week we were there. Drove into Byrdstown and ate at the Bobcat and the Country Kitchen. Awesome food.

A gentleman proceeded to come around on a golf cart without any introduction and claimed not to have my tent on the grass. I have pictures and it was 90% was in the gravel the front I had on the grass. My problem is, I thought I was talking to some random person. When I found out he was dnr. Then I absolutely moved the tent 10 inches.
I tried approaching him ( a witness, the game warden was there) when I mentioned respectfully, I am sorry I didn’t know who he was, that I thought I was talking to some random guy given his opinion. Once I realized I moved the tent 10inches. He cut me off and didn’t want me talking was the impression I received, since she was there. I made sure I voiced my opinion, he needs to Id himself in those situations. The fact is tbis, I did it show up with intentions to put the tent against policy. Is it policy?
Second are there exceptions for using logic and reason 10 inches was to exit the tent without stepping on gravel.
I took pictures of 4 other tent campers that had there tents all in the grass. Why me I ask?
Thanks hat leads why I am writing this, I heard hon talking to I think the host before he came over and they were making comments about my wakeboard boat. “How people have the money for those”. “ what a waist”.
This is mostly why I blew him off initially, again I had no idea who he was .
There has always been really nice ladies that use to check me in. Can you you get them back?
Frustrated!!!!!
