Pros:
•We loved staying close to the lake and right off of the main highway.
•The camp host was very nice and helpful! I can’t think him enough for letting us use his mobile holding tank to dump our gray tank.
Cons:
•The bathroom is outdated but at no fault of the camp host.
•The tree at site 44 cuts down on the view.
•The cost of ice cream cones at the marina 😬

Obey River is a great campground to visit! We camp there several times a year and enjoy our time and memories made there. Hosts are great and are good to ensure rules are followed. Would love to see the bathhouses renovated/updated though.

This is such a beautiful campground! We have been camping here for 15 years. The camp hosts and staff are so kind and helpful. We appreciate the quiet, clean, and safe camping experience Obey River campground provides for our family. Huge shoutout to Jeff and Lisa Harper who go above and beyond to maintain such a lovely place that we continue to enjoy every season!

Campsite #1 was not as nice as what we’ve seen in the past with the addition of the new volunteer park person. After it rained, there was lots of mud and dirt on our campsite. This will no longer be one of our favorite sites at Obey River Park. We did try to move to another site but everything was booked and we decided to leave two days early because of this.

It’s hard to get a campsite BUT noticed a lot of empty campsites. Something wrong with the reservation system.

Park attendant is rude to just about everyone unless you are friends with her. For them to have “redone” the park it looks no different than it did. The front of our spot was full of drift wood and trash that people had left laying around.
