What Guests Are Saying
Anderson Road Campground offers spacious and private sites with beautiful waterfront access, making it a great spot for families and outdoor enthusiasts. The manager, Ash, is noted for his friendly and caring demeanor, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. While the restrooms are older and could use some updates, they are kept clean, and the campground is well-maintained overall, providing a pleasant camping experience.

We stayed for a whole week and weren't too impressed. We had what sounded like gunshots going off one night and police driving through the camp at around 2 in the morning shining a spotlight at everyone's sites. Bathrooms weren't terrible, except for the showers. You can bring pets, we didn't but would have if we'd have known. Also, they don't allow alcohol.. I don't know who camps and doesn't want to drink but it isn't us, wish we had known that ahead of time. It was close to the beach area that they have and that was nice, we spent most days there swimming! Can't say that I would camp here again but if you want a place to camp maybe one night and don't mind the cops driving through with a spotlight on your site then I say go for it.

The camp sites are very spacious and more private than any campground I have ever visited. The Park Ranger at the gate was great, friendly, informative and great to deal with. I WILL be back again!
