What Guests Are Saying
Anderson Road Campground offers spacious and private sites with beautiful waterfront access, making it a great spot for families and outdoor enthusiasts. The manager, Ash, is noted for his friendly and caring demeanor, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. While the restrooms are older and could use some updates, they are kept clean, and the campground is well-maintained overall, providing a pleasant camping experience.

Not Big Rig friendly. Trees are over grown. The site wasnt level , had to big of a dip. when we were backing up the hitch was digging into the ground . we couldn't get into the site, had to go to a non electric site and run the gen set. But, the work campers were very nice.

The campground was peaceful, clean, nice private large sites, variety of sites, pretty setting on the lake, and great location near Nashville. Also appreciated being able to use America the Beautiful passes. Thank you!

We use to stay here years ago. It's always been a great place to camp. Only one thing that I see that needs to be addressed is the showers. Some of the shower drains were stopped up and they most definitely need cleaned everyday or at least every other day cause their filthy! Other than that it's a great place to stay!

Beautiful secluded campsites. Even with rainstorms lasting through the night, we had a good camping experience.
The shower house plumbing could use some work though.
One of the stalls had no faucet handle to turn the shower on, the second shower looked operational so I used that one, only to discover that it didn't drain and by the end of my 3 minute shower, I was standing in a couple inches of dirty water.
We would consider staying here again, but would definitely call ahead to check the status of their plumbing before booking.
