Quiet and clean campground. Very few people here in mid November. It felt like we had the campground to ourselves. Bath house was heated and very clean.

Nice campground. Decent sized spaces, level spots, well-kept bathrooms. The area has wonderful trails but none really accessible from campground without driving or a long road walk.

Campground is more open, "family oriented"; sites are not very private, too close to each other, and with a weekend stay, neighbors were louder than we'd like. Not a "nature" campground, but a perfectly nice stay. Walked over to the hike at Blue Heron mining compound, and that hike is terrific.

Rustic, quiet, large sites. The Blue Heron trail which is very close by is an excellant trail.

Black bears and other wildlife frequent this campground. Please keep in mind that “food” to a bear includes any item with a scent, regardless of packaging. This may consist of items that you do not consider food, such as canned goods, horse feed, bottles, drinks, soaps, cosmetics, toiletries, trash, ice chests (even when empty), and unwashed items used for preparing or eating meals. All these items must be stored properly.
Following these guidelines will keep you from getting your property confiscated from your campsite.
