There was poison ivy in the tree on our campsite (10), there was also some on the tree by the bath house. We loved our stay & will be back. FYI, this is a tight spot, 30 Ft was too big for this spot because of getting in & out, there is a fence on the left side, also the hook ups were on the right side so you do not face the lake. There is a big hole across from the site they have a barrel in it but getting out without moving it is tough.

Poorly designed COE campground. Difficult to maneuver and confusing. We booked for three nights and they closed the park after our second night via email…which we don’t read when vacationing. We came back from town mid afternoon and were told we had to be out in 45 minutes. Not a park we will visit again.

Drove our 31 foot RV towing a car. Entry road to park, and interior road to site tight and windy, bu doable. Site itself is fantastic. Level and roomy, with a picture perfect view of the lake. Beautiful park to roam through. Definitely returning.

We had an excellent time at this campground, site 52. The site is very easy to pull into and hook up to the water and electricity. We had phone service and several television channels to view. It has a very nice view of the lake with lots of space around us. Our visit was the weekend of the Fall/Halloween celebration. We had a great time visiting the many decorated campers. The campground host was very nice and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

Park condition has deteriorated greatly this season. Bathrooms need a lot of repairs. Fish cleaning station doesn’t work. Day use area bathrooms don’t work. People paying for one site and using 2-3 other sites. Camping rules are not enforced. Parking is a problem because people are using other spots for free and blocking emergency services if needed. Laundry is broken from non-camper use. People come in throughout the night, do laundry, shower, & leave. Campers are disturbed by the constant traffic overnight. The gate is no longer closed at 10pm. People are actively drinking, intoxicated, & extremely loud at various times of the day and night. Drug use is obvious and smelled throughout May sites. Open containers of alcohol, drug paraphernalia, & 2 bags of trash was picked up by our group of campers so our kids could play. The overall family friendly environment of the park is gone. This is my 40th year at Floating Mill and it has been the worst. The volunteer hosts are useless! They aren’t there for weeks and do NOT assist campers in any way. The hosts are there for a free campsite and to promote their YouTube Channel. Doc is the only one to be seen in the park or at the guard shack. I have been at the park for many years when the gate crew and the volunteer hosts were AWESOME! This year was NOT awesome! I am responding on behalf of our group consisting of 11 families. We hope next year is better but we will not continue camping at Floating Mill if the hosts, crew, & conditions do not get fixed to the standards previous years have maintained. Fortis is a JOKE! They do not clean the bathrooms, campsites, or anything around the park. We have never seen them stay at the park for over 2 hours per day. They are gone quick and the cleanliness of the facilities reflect their lack of duties. Please consider our families when making plans for the upcoming season. We love Floating Mill and want to see it back the way it was. Thank you in advance!

We ended up staying 12 nights in 4 different sites. Great views & good facilities but beware cell service is tough with AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon all 1 bar, if lucky, based on conversations I had with multiple folks. Camp host was very helpful with any questions. We would definitely stay again.

The campsite is lovely, but being CLOSELY stacked together with other campers, loud teens near the lake at 11pm, and many barking dogs at 6am made it an undesirable and unforgettable experience.

Beautiful area however the campsites are very close together. Campsites are small also.
