My son and I have been camping at floating mill park for the past 5 years and love it. It's our go to spot every year

We stayed in site 35 in October. The view of the water was very nice. The area was clean and well kept. The only thing that surprised us was the number of walnut falling uphill and rolling into our tent! During the night they really tumbled! Once we knew what it was we enjoyed it but the first time was scary!

We stayed in site 60 and overall loved it! Site 60 has a very large tent pad so our 10x20 family tent fit well. The area around the table and grill was very tidy and well kept. Bath houses were also very clean and modern (for a campground). Staff we encountered were friendly. We spotted deer having dinner and ducks on the lake among other wildlife.
On the to be improved upon end, the steps from the road to the table were ok, but the steps from the table to the tent pad were uneven and very dangerous. The railroad ties used to create the steps have decayed tremendously. We walked down on the grass but in the rain it was quite slippery.

The campsites are extremely close together and noisy. The bath house was old and run down. The access driveways were narrow and crowded. This was our first and last stay here. Definitely not up to the usual Corps of Engineers standards

One of our favorite campgrounds! Million Dollar Views, paved level site (although many have an incline to reach the level spot), nice playground area, loved that the tent campers are so well accommodated! We camped in a class b camper van, October 2020, site #78. Mama deer and her two fawns right outside our window when we woke up in the morning. Perfect fall sunset over the lake from our site. Easy access from I40 between Knoxville and Nashville

Campsites were more narrow that other campgrounds in our area. Restrooms nice and clean.

Beautiful spot near boat ramp and was able to park our camper facing the lake. Loved getting up and drinking coffee watching activities on the water. Lots of families enjoying the campgrounds to.

This campground was one of the cleanest we have been to. The bathrooms were very nice & clean. The bathroom cleaners are doing an excellent job. We definitely will be back. Only wish it had internet access.
