Pulled in and no host to be found. Not clearly marked as to what is the campground and what is the public use area. Had to do a "U" turn in the boat launch area and almost jacknifed my class C and car.
Finally after standing around looking for someone to help some guy pulled up in a pickup and led us to our spot. He said he was just a volunteer and not a host. Very unorganized place.

The experience is not what it use to be, but still is a nice place to camp.

Better description of the camp sites would help This particular site should not be considered big enough for anyone to camp. Overall Everyone was friendly and nice .

The hosts are amazing and so friendly. The parks location is perfect to have a quick drive to Nashville. We loved our stay. The only issue we had was the fire ring was so close to the camper location we never felt comfortable having a campfire.

We booked site 29, however we were unable to back our 30 foot travel trailer into the spot due to the design of the road and small retaining wall along the road. Fortunately, we were with a group and had reserved extra spots. So we ended up using another spot for our camper and putting our boat trailer in this spot. We love the easy access for boating. The playground was a hit with our children. Overall we had a good time.

It was gorgeous with amazing views but be careful trying to get through some of the underbrush there was poison ivy in a lot of places.
