Highly recommend Burgess falls state park. Take the trail and see all three water falls. They're awesome.

The park is nice overall, but the tent sites need maintenance and there should be some monitoring of quiet hours. We stayed in site #60 and the wooden stairs were not usable. They were falling apart and very hazardous. We noticed the same issue at other tent sites. Also, our first night I didn't sleep at all due to some very loud, partying campers behind us. Boats were also speeding across the lake in the middle of the night. The beach areas and restrooms were nice.

I was lucky enough to get one of the secluded RV sites (79) for a week of wonderful weather. The campground was in great shape and the bathrooms were spotless. Everyone working there was kind and very helpful. An all-round wonderful first week back to camping.

The couple who handle duties at the entry gate are wonderful. Very nice, very helpful. The water is great and the boat ramp is very accessible. However the general camping spots are very tight and many campers are too close to each other. Other than that, it was a great weekend camping trip.

We absolutely love this place! We take our kayaks and boat with easy access to the lake on their ramp. Can’t wait to go in spring!
