What Guests Are Saying
Ragland Bottom is highly praised for its friendly and helpful camp hosts, clean restrooms, and well-maintained facilities, making it a favorite camping destination. Visitors enjoy beautiful views of Center Hill Lake and appreciate the spacious, level sites available. While some noted issues like steep walk-in site access and occasional disturbances from other campers, the overall experience remains positive and many express a desire to return.

This was our first time here. What a great find Beautiful camoground by theclake,we stayed on #33,this site was level, on a concrete pad, sites were clean, large enough, the roads throughout the campground were well maintained. The bathroom/showers were surprisingly clean and modern. The hosts in the guard house were friendly and very hospitable.I noticed they did escort some Campers to their site and they were seen patrolling the grounds, socializing and cleaning.we already scheduled a return trip.

We stayed in a tent. Really clean bathrooms. Showers were nice and warm. The only thing that I didn't like was the fast traffic hitting the speed bumps. They need someone there slowing them down or bigger speed bumps so they can't go so fast.

Campground seems to lack attention. The fire pit had several trash items in it & there were lots of small trash items all throughout the site. Apparently no one checks the site between reservations. Large tree branches were also on site. The grass needed mowing but that seems to be the norm in all COE campgrounds this year. Probably the worst site condition I’ve seen in many years at COE camping.

Camping at Ragland Bottom is always an enjoyable experience. Nice quiet peaceful site. As always Tom and his wife are the best host/hostess around.
