Great park, and really nice surroundings. I camp a lot so I don't have many complaints. The only thing I do wish is that there are adjacent trails for hiking and I noticed they weren't kept up. Well they weren't so much trails as old fire service roads probably used for access during the building of that dam. It would be nice if they had some maintenance and were made accessible.

Campground hosts in A were a little unpleasant. Not helpful at all. Obviously northerners with none of that southern " charm" we expect when traveling in the area.

Very quiet campground. Was there on the last day the camp store was opened for the season. If going after Oct 31, make sure to have the supplies you need, including firewood.

I was bummed about no heaters in the bath houses but that’s just personal preference. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful camp ground. Heaters or no heaters, we will be back!

The sites are good and level easy to back into. Restrooms were clean. Camp staff were friendly and helpful. No cell phone service and that is not a complaint nor do I want cell service while camping.

Great space and atmosphere. Did have a loud neighbor that had a tv on very loudly at 1:45 am and woke us up. Other than that we had a great time and experience!
