This is such a little hidden gem of a campground. Roomy spots, plenty of shade, a great beach and a very well taken care of path around the lake. We'll keep coming back every summer.

We love Indian Boundary. My wife and I have been camping here for 50 years. It's a great place with lots of activities like hiking, swimming, kayaking the lake, fishing, and much more.

Indian Boundary is one of the best campgrounds we have been to. Fairly close to Tellico Plains and just off the Cherohala Skyway! Close to Bald River Falls, Green Cove and the Benton MacKaye trail.
Campsites are well spaced, private and shaded. We stayed in loop A, site 8. Close to the beach area with swimming and fishing. The camp host keep the bathrooms very clean and in good working order.

Located in gorgeous natural area and on the engineering feat of Cherohala Skyway. Very popular campground with most sites full and children racing around on e-bikes and scooters, walkers beware. Sites close together. Shower house old with no temperature control and timers. No cell service in camp. Trail around lake is nice, but others in area are not maintained.

Our site was level and easy to access. Bathroom was clen but the air hand dryer did not work and no paper towels to dry hands.

From I-75 at Sweetwater, Tennessee, take State Route 68 to Tellico Plains.
From Highway 68 in Tellico Plains, take Highway 165 (Cherohala Skyway) east for 16 miles. Turn left onto Forest Development Road 345 and travel 2 miles to the entrance.
Indian Boundary Campground is accessible via I-75, taking State Route 68 to Tellico Plains, and then Highway 165 (Cherohala Skyway) east.
