We did not know what to expect without cell service, but I have to say it was one of our favorite campgrounds to stay so far. The campground is family oriented. Parents if you want your kids to unplug from their electronic devices this is the place. The trees were in full color, unbelievable scenery. Hike around the lake or take the scenic drive through the mountains.
Our hosts Dave and Faye were awesome and the country store there has a good stock of any needs for camping. We will definitely be back next year in the fall.

Nice campground but there was a very rude female buck from the dept of agriculture who was not wearing a uniform trying to play traffic cop.

Wonderful time of year to visit, and the weather was amazing. However, the rule about no hammocks even if 1 foot away from your campsite is absolutely ridiculous. That rule needs to be changed.!

Our first time to this area and campground. We stayed at 016, Loop A. Great location, next to the lake (lake trail and viewing area), short walk to the general store, and just far enough away from the bathroom/shower that you didn’t have foot traffic at all hours. Very quiet campground, friendly campers, and gorgeous lake. Centrally located to good restaurants, hiking trails, etc.
