The hosts are wonderful. The campground is clean, bathrooms are clean, the sites are roomy. We love coming there 6 - 7 times each season.
The reservation system does not work well. The campgrounds can appear to be totally filled online, but when you arrive, there are many empty spots that I would have loved to stay in myself. And when you go online, it is nearly impossible to even get a reservation. I don't know the answer, but the current system stinks!!!

Best N.F. campground in our experience. Suggest banning leaf blowers! In a forest and people don't want any leaves on their campsite?? And a little inconvenient to close restrooms for cleaning from 8-9:00 in the morning.

The camp grounds are very nice the only issue I have is the space between camps are just to close to each other but the park is beautiful

Clean and quiet campground with beautiful wooded trail going around the lake. Restrooms and showers were clean and well maintained. Campers respected quiet time and rules, which was refreshing. The camp store was great and the staff very friendly and helpful.

I spent ten days on A loop. My site was perfection! The new owners of the general store were very nice! Billy even sent some mail off for me when he went into town. Two downsides 1. The bathroom takes FOREVER to get hot water in the shower!!! I’m guessing that there is no tankless heater. Plus, once you get the hot water (10-15 minutes!!!) you must shower one handed as you must hold the button to keep it going. 2. The campground host Martha was grumpy. When Jenis was there, both he and his wife were very nice and accommodating. Upsides, the trail is always a treat and the new bridges are very well made. The new store owner also rents bikes, canoes, and bike boats, which looked really cool and seemed sturdy.

The hike around the lake was nice and the campsites very deep. Allowed motor home with tow dolly to be left connected and car parked in site. Dump station is out of the way, multiple water connections in camping area.

Campground host was very helpful. Not a very relaxing stay however due to family reunion next to my site. Too many cars, people, uncontrolled dogs to enjoy.

Indian Boundary is a great place to family camp - the setting is beautiful, traffic in the campground is safe for everyone (especially small children on bikes or scooters), and everyone is friendly. All of the bath facilities are kept clean and the General Store is a great place to visit for both young and old - the children really love the "sweet treats" that are available in the store. Riding bikes on the campground loops is also a lot of fun for everyone. It's great that a campsite can be reserved in advance and the cost is reasonable.

The campground was almost full every night which made for a less than ideal experience. The campground hosts are doing an excellent job of maintaining the bathrooms and tending to the campers needs. We had a good time overall!
